Patients who are dying
Lately a lot of my newly diagnosed CA patients are transitioning to hospice. I know our hospice team is aces and they are there to support the entire family network during this process. I get really attached to my patients and while I understand that life takes this turn, I will miss them and that conection. Hard to say "goodbye" but hope that I could be a resource and source of comfort when I could.
